Objectica Extends Mathematica‘s Capabilities with Object Orientation

Published July 30, 2008

July 30, 2008–With the new application package Objectica, users can perform object orientation functions using Mathematica. Objectica supports full object orientation, including abstract data types, inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism.

Objectica uses a full-scale, easy-to-learn syntax to extend object orientation to Mathematica. In addition, its many consistency checks and automatisms help support development, particularly in a commercial environment.

Objectica is developed and supported by Stephan Leibbrandt, Mathematica consultant and co-owner of Symbols and Numbers, a company that conducts mathematical modeling and simulation.

Objectica requires Mathematica 6 and is supported by Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

Objectica can be purchased at the Wolfram web store.
